PEMI ZOUNI
She was born in Athens. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, School of Philosophy in Athens University and continued with postgraduate research as a scholarship holder in the University of Athens. She has studied in National Theatre Drama School and in the Athens National Conservatorium (piano, recorder and Theory of Music). She also holds a dance diploma.
She has cooperated with National Theatre, State Theatre of North Greece, Municipal Theatre of Serres and Veria as well as with many private theatre companies. For ten years she was director of a theatre company in cooperation with the actor George Valtinos.
She has played the leading role in plays from Shakespeare, Euripides, Sophocles, Mariveau, Williams, Osborne, Wilder, Brecht, Alby, Cocteau, Presley, Coward etc. She has directed five plays. She has starred in many films, in cinema and television. She has hold a recital a singer in the Athens Music Megaron, as well as in other music stages.
She has been awarded with the Prize of Best Performance in a Leading Role in Thessaloniki Festival, 1985 and with the Theatre Prize ‘Marika Kotopouli’ 2003. She is an elected town councilor in the Municipality of Athens, member of the Museum of Theatre, artistic director of the Higher Drama School ‘Iasmos’ and Director of Studies in the Higher Drama School ‘Vassilis Diamantopoulos’ in Thessaloniki.
ARIAN KOTSI
She studied social anthropology in Duke University, cinema and theatre direction under a 3-year scholarship for postgraduate studies in New York University. As a freelance professional director she has directed over 20 projects for the cinema and television in cooperation with state and private channels. She has cooperated with BBC and Channel 4 in Great Britain. She has directed 15 works for the theatre. Many of them were school theatre performances and they have been awarded with first prizes in artistic state competitions. She lives in Thessaloniki, where she teaches script writing, acting, direction etc. She is also responsible for the development and promotion of educational programmes for Thessaloniki Film Festival. She has founded Studio ‘Entropia’, a cinema and theatre school, where she was responsible for the theatre department for 7 years. She has also founded and directed the children’s theatre group ‘5th Era’ in Thessaloniki for 2 years.
LOUKAS KOUHTIN
He was born in 1967. He studied in the Cinema and Television School ‘Parallaxi’ in Thessaloniki. He has worked on various short films as photography and film director. He has also worked for video clips and corporate documentaries for several years. He has taught for 2 years in documentary seminars. During the last 10 years he works as a producer and director in the local TV Station ET3 in Thessaloniki.
